SIPs Design

With our in-house design team and specialist software, Myriad deliver everything from premium design packages to complex bespoke SIPs solutions. Our designs meet exact architectural and structural requirements for high-performing, energy-efficient buildings.

Manufacture

Myriad fabricates Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) in our dedicated workshop for use in walls, and roofs of complete buildings. Panels consist of a high-performance, fibre-free rigid urethane insulation core, packed between two layers of Oriented Strand Board (OSB).

Our experienced carpentry specialists use precision cutting equipment to ensure consistently high-quality, accurately manufactured panels.

Delivery

All SIPs are expertly wrapped and carefully transported to site, arriving ready for installation and protected throughout transit.

On-site Construction

The complete SIPs system is delivered ready for erection by our fully qualified construction team. With decades of experience in constructing and erecting SIPs structures, Myriad ensures efficient assembly, accuracy, and build quality on site.

We work closely with architects and structural engineers at every stage of the process to ensure seamless coordination, high quality workmanship, and efficient project delivery from design through to completion.

The advantages of SIPs

  • Quick to build ~ Prefabricated off-site, reducing build time and enabling a swift on site assembly.

  • Reduced on-site labour costs.

  • Reduced downtime - Fabricated in a workshop, which is not subject to the elements and poor weather conditions.

  • Energy efficiency - Highly energy efficient as the design provides a continuous, air-tight building envelope, reducing heat loss and air leakage.

  • Lower energy bills - Due to improved energy efficiency and excellent thermal conductivity.

  • A warm home in winter and cool in the summer.

  • Sustainable construction - Minimal waste produced on site.

  • Environmentally friendly - Less energy is used during fabrication compared to traditional construction methods. High insulation performance reduces CO2 emissions over the building’s lifetime.

  • Strength and Durability - SIPs are extremely strong and durable and can withstand high winds and harsh weather conditions.

  • Ideal for Passivhaus and low-energy building standards.

  • Improved indoor air quality - Reduced air movement improves air quality and helps maintain consistent temperatures throughout the building.

  • Varied design applications - SIPs can be used in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. They can be used in traditional style buildings or more bespoke, contemporary designs, i.e., curved walls or ceilings.
